Our Story
Steady Guidance, from People Who Have Sat Where You Sit
Orrundo was founded on a simple conviction — that organisational change goes better when leaders are supported thoughtfully, not just given frameworks and left to manage alone.
Back to HomeWho We Are
A Practice Built Around the People Inside the Change
Orrundo was established in Kuala Lumpur by a small group of practitioners who had spent years inside Malaysian organisations — across management consulting, human resources, and operations. They saw the same pattern repeat: change efforts that had been well-designed at the strategy level began to falter once they touched the people. Communication was unclear. Managers were under-prepared. The people expected to embrace a new way of working had never been asked how they felt about the old one.
The name Orrundo carries the sense of something that flows and finds its own path — a steady current rather than a disruption. That image informs how we approach every engagement. We do not arrive with a single prescribed method. We arrive with questions, with structure, and with the patience to work through what we find.
Our practice is deliberately small. We work with a limited number of organisations at any one time so that every client receives our full attention. Most of our clients come to us through referrals, which we take as a measure of the relationships we have built over time.
Our Mission
Supporting Leaders Through the Parts of Change That Plans Rarely Capture
Steadiness
We bring a calm, consistent presence into situations that often feel uncertain. Our role is to help leaders think clearly and communicate well, even when things are not.
Honest Observation
We tell clients what we are finding, not what they might prefer to hear. Organisations benefit from advisors who can name things plainly and without agenda.
Respect for People
Every person inside a changing organisation is adjusting to something. We keep that in mind at every stage of our work and make sure the people affected are considered, not just managed.

How We Work
Our Professional Standards
Strict Confidentiality
All information shared with Orrundo is handled with discretion. We operate under formal confidentiality arrangements with every client, and nothing shared in our sessions is attributed to individuals in any report.
Defined Scope and Deliverables
Every engagement begins with a written scope that both parties agree on. We do not expand scope without a conversation, and deliverables are described in plain language before work begins.
Regular Communication
We keep clients informed throughout an engagement — not just at the start and end. If something unexpected surfaces, we raise it promptly rather than leaving it to the final report.
Ethical Advisory Practice
We decline engagements where our involvement could cause harm to the people inside the organisation. Our advice is shaped by what is constructive and honest, not by what might extend the engagement.
Data Protection
We handle personal information in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and maintain secure storage practices for all materials produced during an engagement.
Continued Development
Our consultants regularly engage with current thinking in change management, organisational behaviour, and leadership development — so that the advice we give reflects thoughtful, current practice.
Context and Expertise
Change Advisory That Fits the Malaysian Organisational Context
Malaysia's business environment brings its own blend of organisational cultures, communication norms, and management expectations. Change efforts that work in one setting may land differently in another — especially across organisations where team members come from varied backgrounds and where relationships carry significant weight in how decisions are received.
Orrundo's approach draws on practical experience within Malaysian workplaces. We understand the care needed when surfacing concerns across different levels of an organisation, and we appreciate how trust is built — gradually, and through consistency. Our engagements are designed with this in mind, from the way we conduct initial interviews to how we frame recommendations.
Our work spans organisations at different stages of readiness. Some come to us before a change has been announced, wanting to understand the landscape first. Others arrive mid-transition, when early signs suggest that the people side of the effort needs more attention. A smaller number engage us on a longer-term basis as they work through sustained transformation across a quarter or more.
Whatever the entry point, we bring the same qualities to every engagement: attentiveness, structure, and a genuine interest in helping the organisation emerge from the transition in a stronger, more considered position than when it began.
